About us
| ABOUT US
The Abbey College is located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Malvern, central England. The College, which was established as a seat of learning in 1874, provides residential academic courses (IGCSE, A levels and University Foundation programmes) and English Language courses (long and short-term) for students from a wide variety of nationalities and cultures. OUR LOCATION The town of Malvern, with a population of around 40,000, is renowned as a centre for high-quality private education and is statistically one of the safest towns in the whole of the U.K. Our students study in a safe and secure environment away from the dangers and distractions of the big cities. Our central location does however provide the opportunity to arrange supervised excursions to various cities on a regular basis. The cathedral cities of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester are only half an hour away and Cheltenham, Stratford, Birmingham, Bath and Oxford are also close by. London is 2½ hours away by car or direct train. We also arrange frequent social excursions to the local cinema, discos, ten-pin bowling and leisure centre. |
Courses Offered
| Academic Courses are divided into three main areas. Our younger students (minimum age 14) concentrate on preparation for GCSE / IGCSE examinations. ) Students aged 16 years of age and older work towards either the traditional ‘AS’ and ‘A’ level qualifications or the specialist University Foundation Programmes. Both programmes lead directly to university entry and our students achieve degree places at the best of the UK universities | |

They offer general English lessons combined with a full programme of excursions (2 per week) and numerous on-site sports and social activities.
